Dear 'what',

As you see, you caused quite a stir. The 'stir' began due to an insult to a family member.

As I was reading your words, I was ready to hit reply and share some thoughts of my own. Then I read your last paragraph, and sat back, and thought, 'now why did she have to do that for'.

We are truly a family here. A family of many different backgrounds, experiences and opinions. That dear friend is the beauty of this forum.

Someone enduring great pain can write in. 5 people can reply, and out of that 5, maybe 1 person gave a reply that hit home, that made a difference in that persons life. And at the same time, the other 4 repliers have touched someone elses heart that is just reading the comments.

I call this forum, my home. Our family consists of honest, loving and experienced family members. Family members who have 'survived' life's trials, and grew and are still growing. Growing in love and understanding. And due to our experiences, are capable of reaching out, because we are familiar with the pain, and we know what worked for each of us to overcome the pain, and to grow forward, and not back into darkness.

Our replies are our own personal opinions. I personally have bonded immediately with so many of our family members. Many that don't even know I'm reading their posts, and sitting here going, wow, I know what you mean.

One final note, we are a family, and when we feel an insult, or if we feel that one is being 'challenged' a bit too much, there will be a reaction.

Hope you stick around 'what'. We are only human.
