How many safe places - if any - do you have and USE to let out anger, especially the gut-wrenching stuff that most of us are terrified of? This forum may be creaking open those trap doors a bit, and if so, it looks like the process is taking you a bit by suprise!:)
Things happen for a reason Kim, and usually I find that there are SOUND reasons behind stuff I do that scares me at first. Relax, my gut feeling is that your venting is exatcly what you needed to do. For me, the trick isn't being more perfect - it's learning how to be ok with being VERY imperfect, and when I screw up, the amends I make are the example which are part of the REAL diamonds under the porcupine.
Ever written something in a journal or on a piece of paper where you let anger and rage come out no holds barred? If not, how bout wading a bit further into that pool by CHOICE? You are more than welcome to write a diatribe where you shock the hell out of yourself with the language and the bitterness that comes out, and then send it to me and Lynda. We will CELEBRATE your ability and willingness to take such a risk, cause we've made that kind of terrifying leap of faith with each other - and ya know, it feels damn goooooood!:)
God gave us water to give us life, not drown ourselves in. God gave us anger for the same reason. It can be really good stuff!:)
This help any????
