I very much agree with the musician point of view! I too hate to generalize, but I am married to a guitarist, and yes, the passion for playing does interfere at times. My bread and butter is in the visual arts, and when our passion levels do not match each others as far as our livelyhoods are concerned, one partner is left feeling very lonely for the other and neglected. It a CONSTANT struggle to find that balance in our marriage.
