Excellent point. I personally value the monogamy and faithfulness in a relationship also. This is a great perspective; now Pam's got my 'little pea brain' rattling around!

To add and enforce, I see a loving thing you can do for yourself by re-reading Pam's words and understand how it applies to you. If you really want to help this young lady, ask yourself why. Try as hard as you can, not to say to yourself "because SHE needs" or "she" this, or that. Focus on you. Stop if your thoughts shift to her needs. This is a good first layer to peel away but it takes patience and honesty and the ability to stay with it until you have peeled the entire artichoke.
