I understand your frustration. The problem is, you can NEVER be totally free of the risk that something could happen again. You may become fairly confident that nothing is happening now, and even confident that nothing will happen in the future. But you can never be absolutely sure. Just like none of us really know whether we'll be alive next week.

As for the trip to the east coast -- I say let sleeping dogs lie.
