I am so sorry things didn't work out for you...I was in a similar situation. My ex was in a distant city. I broke up with him because I wanted to move to be with him and he couldn't decide. Then he visited me and asked me to move to be with him. Then a month later, he changed his mind and said that he didn't think we were gonna work. However, this was before I moved. It was devestating.

Your story is very sad to me. However, you tried. You did your best.

As for you moving home, you can do whatever you want. Who cares if people say "I told you so". No one can tell another person how to live their life. I think it would be best for you to move to where you have some friends and possibly family to support you. Or at least go to a counsellor so you can vent. I found this very helpful. I just wish you all the best. And feel proud in the fact that you are strong enough to live your life according to what you believe is the best for you. Good luck.
