Sexual Addiction ----- From: Bill - Date: 08 Dec 1997

On the "safety" issue: I seem to cross the line (of responsible sexual behavior) in active ways, putting myself in a slight jeaopardy. I have a hard time seeing how this is a form of security for me. Is that sort of contradiciton common? Do you have recommendations on how to conceptualize the dichotomy?

Also, I am not a fan of 12-step organizations. Are there any groups treating sexual and similar behavioral addictions with moderation treatment, that you can recommend? Unfortunately - a therapist is not in my budget.
