Steve,
I remember you posted something to me when I wrote here a few weeks ago... thanks so much.
If you remember or read my post (How do I move on - or get her back) you'll see that something really similar happened to me.
I know so welll the pain of it all and also the added pain of meeting your ex and seeing that the spark is still there between you. Last week I met my ex for just an hour and it was like the purest magic.
Then two days later I call her, she's off from work, and she's in bed with the lover. "Sorry I really can't talk right now", "where are you?", "in bed".
That HURT.
What advice or comment do I have for you? I'm not sure, my whole dilemma is the same as yours I think - I don't know whether to keep hurting myself more by staying interested or whether I should just try my best to not have anything to do with her.
I don't know what to do - but you should know that you're not alone. I think maybe in the long run it's better to keep trying and trying until you are 100% sure that you can't do anything else - otherwise later you might regret not trying harder. Even though every time we talk it hurts so much, but it's so good too....
Then again, some would say that the only way she'll come back is if you leave her alone for a long time.... but unfortunately I think that, for my situation, she really likes the guy she's with too so why should she come back to me or even bother to listen to me...
Anyway man, just don't forget that you've got a lot going for you and you _will_ be strong enough to deal with the pain....
